The HitPay DX4000 is a portable, standalone, all-in-one POS terminal with:

Steps to get your All-in-One Terminal

  1. Sign up for a HitPay account.
  2. Complete your KYC and get approved.
  3. Purchase the terminal.
  4. We will enable Cards (Terminal users only) payment method for you. Contact Sales if it is not enabled.
  5. In your HitPay Dashboard: Payment Methods > Select “Turn On” for “Cards (Terminal users only).
  6. Complete the onboarding form for Cards (Terminal users only).
  7. Once your onboarding is successful, your terminal will be shipped to you — you’re ready to go!

How to setup and and accept payments with your HitPay All-in-One Terminal:

Steps to Set Up

  1. Use the provided cable to charge.
  2. Power on the device (left-side button).
  3. On the Homepage: Settings > Enter passcode “350000” > Select Network & Internet > Select Wi-Fi > Connect
  4. Open HitPay App > Log in > Type a charge amount on the keypad > Select “Charge” > You should see “Card Terminal” as Connected
  5. You’re good to go!
Please do not use the Cybersource App as any transactions that go through it will not be recorded in HitPay.

Steps to Accept a Payment

To accept payment, follow these steps below :
  1. Complete the setup steps above.
  2. Open the HitPay app and log in.
  3. Enter the amount and tap Charge. (Optional) Add invoice number, remarks, or description.
  4. Choose Card Terminal as the payment method.
  5. Tap or insert the customer’s card. Wait for success confirmation on the HitPay App.

FAQs

  1. What if my device has connection issues?
    You can click on the red banner “Oops you are not connected..” and you will see a popup for the WiFi Settings. Alternatively, you can go to Settings > Check Reader Settings > change WiFi Settings. Select a stable and secure WiFi connection to continue using the terminal.
  2. Do I need a SIM card to use the terminal?
    No, if you have a stable and strong WiFi connection, SIM card will not be necessary. SIM card can be used for places without a good WiFi connection.
  3. Can I void a payment?
    Void is not available due to limitations by our partner. You can refund a payment after 2 days after the charge has been confirmed. Once you refund, your customer will receive it in their bank account within 3-5 working days, depending on their card issuer.
  4. Where can I monitor my payouts for transactions made via the terminal?
    You can monitor it through HitPay Account > Bank Payouts > HitPay Balance
