# DuitNow

> Malaysia's national instant payment system

## Overview

DuitNow is Malaysia's national instant payment system, enabling real-time transfers between bank accounts and e-wallets 24/7. Users scan a unified DuitNow QR code at merchants to pay from any linked bank or e-wallet, promoting interoperability across providers like Touch 'n Go.

## Setup

DuitNow is automatically available to all business-verified Malaysian merchants — no additional steps required.

For cross-border merchants outside Malaysia:

1. Navigate to **Settings** in your HitPay dashboard.
2. Click on **Payment Methods**.
3. Click **Turn On** next to **DuitNow**.

## Payment Flows

### Online

1. Customer sees the **DuitNow** option on the checkout page.
2. Customer selects **DuitNow** — a QR code is displayed.
3. Customer scans the QR using any supported e-wallet or banking app.
4. Transaction is completed.

### POS / Quick Sale

1. Merchant selects **DuitNow** from the Payment Methods list.
2. A dynamic DuitNow QR code is displayed to the customer.
3. Customer scans the QR using any supported e-wallet or banking app.
4. Transaction is completed.
